Computer Basics is the first step for learners who want to use a computer with confidence. It is designed for complete beginners, secondary school students, young graduates, working professionals, and anyone who wants to stop feeling lost around computers. In this course, learners will practise with a real computer and learn how to turn it on, use the keyboard and mouse, open and close programs, manage basic files, connect to Wi-Fi, use the internet safely, and complete simple digital tasks without fear. This is not a theory-only course. Every lesson includes a short video, a simple Nigerian example, hands-on practice, and a quick practical check. By the end of the course, each learner should be able to sit in front of a computer, operate it confidently, open a learning tool, connect to the internet, and complete basic school or workplace tasks. This course is also the foundation for higher practical technology courses such as Network Fundamentals, Wi-Fi Setup, IP Camera Installation, AI Tools Operation, Phone & Laptop Troubleshooting, and Food Safety digital logging. Students who complete this course earn the Computer Operation Fundamentals Certificate.
